Cat Grade with Slope Assist

Cat® GRADE with Slope Assist uses in-cab guidance and blade control so it’s easier for operators to work efficiently and precisely. The system automatically maintains blade mainfall (fore/aft) and slope angles so operators can reduce manual inputs by as much as 80%. An in-cab display with real-time mainfall/slope indicators directs the operator, giving a simple way to track progress. This results in fast, confident grading work - so jobs get done quicker with less passes and more accuracy. Other great bottom-line benefits include less fuel burn and less operator fatigue.

Cat Grade with 3D.

Cat Grade Control 3D is designed for Cat dozers and fully integrated into the iron at the factory. Deep integration ensures the system works flawlessly with other features to optimize for full blade loads.

Dual GNSS antennas are mounted on the cab thereby eliminating masts and cables usually located on the blade. So antennas are kept clear and out of harm’s way – saving time by eliminating component installation/removal. When comparing this design with single GNSS systems, dual antenna design adjusts for steep slope work, heading changes and machine direction changes to yield accurate grades on each and every pass. It is optimized specifically for Cat machines for productivity-boosting performance and quality results so you can work with confidence.

Integrated joystick buttons help operators complete fast grade adjustments while keeping their hands on the controls so operation is simple and efficient.

An in-cab display offers a clear 3D grade plan with cut/fill data guiding the operator to grade, while automated blade movements help achieve consistent, quality grades faster - in fewer passes. Cat AccuGradeTM.

The AccuGrade Grade Control System is a technology machine control and guidance system that allows operator to grade with increased accuracy, with less survey stakes. Digital design data, in-cab operator guidance features and automatic controls help the operator achieve grade faster, meaning higher productivity, lower operating costs, and greater profitability.

AccuGrade Grade Control System is a dealer installed technology that can be used to guide an operator to grade, manually using in-cab guidance, or automatically by controlling movements resulting in faster and more accurate grading. The system uses machine mounted sensors to calculate precise blade/ tool location, slope and/or elevation information. The integrated electrohydraulic valve control module uses the information received from the sensors to control the machine's hydraulic system and automatically adjust the blade/bucket's cutting edge to maintain grade on select machines. Depending on the configuration, the operator can select which side of the blade/tool to control - right, left, or both sides. AccuGrade brings to the customer an increase in productivity by up to 40% while reducing their site costs dramatically.
