Our Metco 6P thermal spray system is an effective means to optimize your aluminum and steel parts by eliminating seal grooves, abrasive damage, or adhesive wear caused by contamination. The strength of a component part can be retained with the removal of an insignificant amount of parent metal, as opposed to the conventional practice of sleeving many of these parts. Steel parts can have up to .100" added on each side, while aluminum can have as much as .200" sprayed. Salvage of brake anchors, shafts, spindles, oscillation joints, housings, engine blocks, and cylinder head surfaces are all good candidates for metal spray.
Toromont Remanufacturing's metal spray technology revives worn surfaces to new dimensions at a cost that is a fraction of new.
